Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and overseeing biologics manufacturing in a cGMP production environment. He/She will work under the direction of manufacturing supervision to schedule production and meet project deadlines. The Manufacturing Associate will accurately follow standard operating procedures and document data in batch production records and write/revise batch production records, standard operating procedures and other documents. The Manufacturing Associate will use and maintain manual and automated manufacturing equipment. He/She will prepare equipment, components, and solutions as needed. The Manufacturing Associate will interface with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Validation, Project Management, and other internal departments. He/She will demonstrate a thorough understanding of technical aspects and cGMP procedures and be a resource for more junior operators. This position may act as a lead and train other technical personnel on manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent work experience. Two to five(2-5) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is required. The qualified candidate will be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility and initiative to work individually or in a team environment is necessary. Previous experience in a cGMP production environment is a must.
