Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing biologics manufacturing in a cGMP production environment. He/She will work under the direction of manufacturing supervision to schedule production and meet project deadlines. The Manufacturing Assistant will accurately follow standard operating procedures and document data in batch production records and write/revise batch production records, standard operating procedures and other documents. The Manufacturing Assistant will use and maintain manual and automated manufacturing equipment. He/She will prepare equipment, components, and solutions as needed. The Manufacturing Associate will interface with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and other internal departments.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent work experience and zero to two (0-2) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is required. The qualified candidate will be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility and initiative to work individually or in a team environment is necessary.
